This is a book that will appeal to anyone who is interested in technology or history or the confluence of the two.. Fox tells the stories of cancer and other ailments which appeared in ordinary people living downwind and downstream from many of the western nuclear sites as a result of cold-war radioactive releases and toxic environmental contamination. It was really helpful to prepare him for the birth of our daughter and make him feel competent when it came time to deliver. If you are looking at this book for collect-ability and/or reading for enjoyment, then it is great.. Ancient Egypt, and in particular, the 18th Dynasty, is one of my favorite periods to read about. Still, it is fascinating to learn of "online" communication that saw men and women meet and marry through the wires much as people do today through the web and to read of the way society struggled to adapt to a medium of communications that was light years ahead. Overall, it is a nice book that fits well in the Iconografix line.. This one was disappointing, but the epilogue promised to return to the old formula for the next book. S
