He describes the happenings so you can "see" them with your own eyes.. I got rid of this book as it was no more than an introduction and nothing I would need as a reference.. As in Rogue Star, Hoare does a commendable job of presenting naval warfare. I usually do not pick copies of books up like this, but I was intrigued by the description.
