In his criticism, Mauss is pretty even-handed, giving praise and credit to even those editors that nearly brought about the collapse of the journal.In one review of this book, a reader stated that he was frustrated with the lack of personal, family details in this book (mention of children, siblings, etc.) It is interesting that one of the reviews of this book above is by Mauss’s son. More importantly, it describes the positive and negative effects of the use of said techniques and drugs, and advises at which stage of labor they are most effective. Never did I witness disloyalty to his core convictions, nor did his actions ever betray his chosen belief system. I was on the Bob Brandy show and got to through the football from Rebe's back. Possibly a good investment for the 'second copy'.And I personally hope his collection eventually ends -intact- in a museum for future generations to see and enjoy.. There are also interesting tidbits along the way: we get facts about Samuel Morse and Thomas Edison that most history books ignore. Good little bite-sized stories you can read in one sitting. A must for anyone wishing to start, collect or wishing more information on African goldweights.. A great read for anyone who is interested in learning more about the technical side of video.
