I was hoping there would be a recipe for that. Museum Legs keeps readers laughing with stories and provokes thought about how we could become more visually creative and more engaged as citizens if museums weren't so drop-dead difficult to negotiate.. I'm lucky enough to have a signed copy and have passed along several to friends already. While I love the images in this book, the print quality and paper used is poor. Very nice. In times like these, thevalue and experience of art gets lost in the finances, if you arestill able to afford the visit to the museum, let alone a trip to aremote museum, at all.One problem that I have with the book has to do with the level ofintellect for which it is intended. [Also finding their curious way into the book is a 100 year-old Mediterranean-style cottage ("seemingly untouched" by a recent renovation) and a 5,700sf, windowless, whitewashed, `art cave.'] Matthew Millman's large photos beautifully illustrate the rich architectural spaces and details, though in the absence of floor plans it's difficult to imagine how they fit together. Some explanations that she gives aretoo complex or too vague for me

Provincial Police, first working as a junior clerk and rising to the position of deputy commissioner in 1959. He retired about the time the force was absorbed by the RCMP, and then became its unofficial historian. About the AuthorBorn in North Berwick, Scotland, Cecil George ""Nobby"" Clark (1899-1993) was 17 when he enlisted in the B.C. He has written four books about the force's cases over its 92-year history.

From the tale of a Texas gambler who though he had committed the perfect murder to the mystery of a Quesnel family who disappeared under suspicious circumstances, these dramatic stories provide a vivid window into frontier society and the challenges faced by members of this exceptional police force.. From 1858 until 1950, the BC Provincial Police maintained law and order in British Columbia, patrolling this vast and rugged area by horseback, boat, snowshoes and dog team until the arrival of the train, automobile and airplane. These classic cases from the files of North America's first territorial constabulary bring to life the lawmen who upheld the peace and the criminals who disrupted it
