Don't criticize the title or the style just because theological answers don't comfort you.Look at who the author is and you'll quickly see that he's not trying to give you a hug and comfort you. Chien's writing style is not as graceful as I would like (what's with all the exclamation points?). So fascinating is Lauerman's - everyone has a story or a relative who worked there - that my story practically wrote itself.Not true of this book. I'd like to see more animal stories like this. I usually do not pick copies of books up like this, but I was intrigued by the description.
