Someone recommended it to me because I love surprising people and they were right - I love it because it has just the right amount of science and entertainment, written in a very accessible, relatable tone. It’s a skill that has served him well.I highly recommend this book. This book took me on a roller coaster ride of emotions. But, a proposition likethat, while admirable, has its problems. I am very proud of my father, the author. The drugs OK, sure, fine, but no way am I praying for him. I guess he didn't let Jessi know about that one!. I thought the Kaplan study guide was a good supplement for this section of the book.If I could pass after 20 years out of college and having been raised outside of California with no knowledge of California History. More than any other volume in Dover's generously-sized library of books on Japanese design, Hornung's testifies to the Japanese genius for manipulating a few design elements into subtle and classically beautiful patterns. It is a fascinating study of how the disaster unfolded and how NASA chose to ignore the foam/wing damage which ultimately lead to the shuttle breakdown on reentry.. Why, not five stars then.
