Henry Cabot Lodge (1850 1924) was a Republican senator and historian from Massachusetts.

. He is the author of a number of historical works, including "Alexander Hamilton", "Hero Tales from American History", "Theodore Roosevelt", and many others. He is best known for his positions on foreign policy, especially his battle with President Woodrow Wilson in 1919 over the Treaty of Versailles.
