She is currently a storybook artist at Disney PuI've always wondered why surprising someone feels so good and I feel like the book really explains how humans (and animals) have an intrinsic and even evolutionary relationship with surprise.The book reads quickly but I feel like I'll look to it again and again for real world ideas and conversation starters. I think it's absolutely essential for teachers and even lawyers.One of my favorite lines:"Surprise makes you-er" :)Totally inspired me to seek out little day to day surprises!. I have about 40 Carnegie pieces in my own collection and not one of them is shown in the book so it leads me to think that there are a lot more pieces out there that are not pictured so this is by no means a definitive representation of this designers jewelry.This book is not for the beginning collector because it is too general and it really is not a book you will refer to over and over because it needs more detail. Anyone interested in how mankind's religions started and why will want to read this book. I can't think of anyone who loves cats who wouldn't treasure this book, and if they love cats and France, so much the better. In some cases, the ordering of the material appears random and haphazard as the text jumps back and forth between topics. Highly recommend this read..
